Bibles in Hotel Rooms

The reason people don't like the Bible in hotel rooms (or anywhere else) is because it reminds them of their sinful condition and accountability to God at the Judgment.

Your Bible only reminds me how stupid and nonsensical the entire Christian belief system is. Talking animals? A guy who lost his strength because his hair was cut? People being turned into pillars of salt? A virgin birth? A man who walks on water and heals people with a touch of his hand? A guy who rises up from the dead? All that's missing is space aliens and Bigfoot.

But then, space aliens and Bigfoot are more believable than the tripe contained in the Bible.

If they don't want to read it, they can leave it in the drawer.

And why should I have to see religious propaganda when I check into a hotel room? How would you feel if the hotel had "Jesus is a Myth" pamphlets in the night stand?

If the Bible is merely a fairy tale, why is it the ONLY one you hate? Why don't you hate Mother Goose or Grimm's?
