I would think those threatening you with eternal torment unless you believe in their imaginary friend, are the dicks. Self-defense is not being a dick. It's having a spine. So, Go Blow Jesus/Allah/Mohamed out your ass is tame if anything.

And Welcome to AF. I'm a former deist myself. Completely got rid of the god nonsense in my mid-20s and haven't looked back since. Deism is one small step from being an atheist anyway.
