I don't blame you for taking a break. I do it once in a while. Sometimes the stupidity is that great that it's unbearable. Do come back. When you are ready, you come back! The forum won't even look the same without you.
I had to bite my tongue a few times and hold back from calling them a number of things. I tend to avoid the stress and annoyance by ignoring the really stupid ones. Those who tend to be dumber than most. Creationists for example.
