Here's a challenge: try and write down, very briefly, the story of the bible from start to finish.
Something like, "God created everything. A talking snake tricked a woman into eating forbidden fruit. God cursed all people that would ever be born. God ordered loads of massacres. God came down in human form to sacrifice himself to himself in order to allow himself to change a rule he had made about everyone being cursed."
Then compare it to this story: "The Flying Spaghetti Monster created the world 300 years ago. He planted evidence and memories to make it seem much older."
Now. Which is the more ridiculous and requires the greatest numbers of assumptions?
Pastafarianism also correlates exactly with all science. It just acknowledges the unreal nature of all evidence older than 300 years.
