Was Hitler objectively bad?

Hitler was a self-justifying ideologue, like Obama or Churchill. They're all useless bastards, but nothing is 'objectively' 'bad'.

I hate the demonizing of Nazism. People always hate it for the retarded reasons.

What retarded reasons might they be?. Do you perhaps mean the abolition of democracy in Germany, political murders or The Nuremberg Race Laws of 1935 which stripped Jews of their citizenship. Or perhaps mass murders,such as at Babi Yar,the establishment of 15 THOUSAND concentration camps ,or the Holocaust,which entailed the murder of people on an industrial scale-as a result we added a new word to our vocabulary; genocide.

I guess if you over look those pettyfogging misdemeanors, you're quite right. People are just being mean demonising the Nazis.
