If you're going to talk about Hitler, it should do you very good to actually do some research on him as opposed to just parroting half-remembered high school history lessons. I would recommend Ian Kershaw's Biography and Robert Evans' Third Reich Trilogy. Or if you don't want to go through five thousand-page volumes on the Third Reich, TVTropes has a few surprisingly informative pages on the details of the Third Reich that your history teacher was too busy trying to wrap everything up to talk about.
How could I have possibly missed the point of the question? Your motive is as clear as the meaning of life!!! A hypothetical question does not & cannot have a proven answer. You may speculate as well as the next person, but your assertions cannot hold water, becuase they are just that, assertions. The fact is, I didn't anwer the question how you would have liked me too.
If you don't want an open answer, from an open forum, don't post an open question, or lead in question and then when you don't get *your* correct answer, presume that I am incorrect. I am neither correct or incorrect as I stated earlier. It is a hypothetical question, so if you cannot supply evidence to support your assertions, which is impoosible, please speculate as much as you like. This is probably right up your ally.
I believe that the SS and the Nazi party may not have come out on top. There were many good people in Germany at the time and I will give these people the benifit of the doubt. Sorry you dislike my answer, but that dosen't mean it is wrong.
