Ok sorry for the constant housing questions but you talked about a housing waiting list that's 5 years wait? Are you on this list and how long have you been waiting?
Once the wait is over then you get free housing?
I might open my own thread at some point so you can get your own back and interrogate me about my life.
Also I remember you mentioning a boyfriend, how does he fit into all this?
Does he want to move in with you at some stage?

For section 8 housing, your rent is fixed at 30% of your income. I too am on disability, and I don't know how I'd manage without subsidized housing. I was on the list for two years, but around here anyway, the housing situation has gotten worse. Waiting periods have gone berserk.
