I think I'd concur with a lot of that list. Though how anyone could regard Pyramids Of Mars as anything lower than recommended is beyond me.
I'd also thoroughly recommend The Romans. A pure historical but played as a comedy, with Derek Francis as Nero. I won't spoil anything, I hope, but the way the TARDIS crew separates and have their own adventures, almost but not quite crossing paths, is wonderful.
