Also could only EVER rep any one person only one time. Well, let me clarify that. For example, I could give Alvin the Chipmunk one positive rep point. Later, I could NEVER give him another positive rep. I could (1) change that to a neutral point or negative point and/or (2) change the MESSAGE on the rep from me, but could never add an additional point, no matter how many months had passed since the first one.
Is that how it works here? I really disliked hitting the wall in a given day after only handing out a very few points. Especially here during the chaos of the last few days when I've been trying to hand out points to favorite people whom I've never repped before.
A forum I was on before that didn't have limits other than a generous number per 24 hour period, in total. We could give points to the same person every day if we wanted to. They called them "kisses" and "smacks" originally. Then when I logged in one April Fool's Day it had been changed to "Gummy Bears." It got hilarious as people started handing out gummy bears in piles and taking them away. Brought a whole new perspective to it.
At TTA there was a limit of 3 reps a day, I think.
If you were staff you could give or take more points at a time...some up to five.
When the Veterans were a thing there we could give a person 2 but after the veterans were disbanded if we wanted to change the comment on a rep it immediately dropped from 2 to 1.
