Caste system is not what you think it is.

Natives are a different nation, not a different class.

You are the one who doesn't understand.


You know why the US government signed treaties with the tribes?

Because they didn't have nuclear weapons.

If they had - they would have used them - exactly for the same reason they did use them on the Japanese.

So they didn't have to commit genocide at a high cost on both sides.

And - if you look at the history - the government at the time had no expectation of honoring those treaties. They fully expected to simply absorb the tribes into the mainstream society. Just look at how the tribal kids were schooled by government run schools. Not allowed to speak tribal language. Not allowed to learn the verbal histories.

A dirty trick?

Sure.

Those treaties are yet another bad chapter in American history.

But I think it's fucked up to be made an accessory after the fact to the government's deceit.

My ancestors had nothing to do with this shit.

It's time to move on.
