A friend of mine that has quitted also said something along those lines. One has to wake up one morning and be stubborn about it.

Depends really how long you would've lived. In a modest approach, If I was to be 100 Then I should've died 10 years ago. This "a cigar takes x amount of life" its plain silly. Better advocate against tobacco with proper facts and support for those that may want to stop.
