The Hadith is the main reason angels are "depicted" in the same manor as Christianity; i.e human babies with wings or whatever. Angels are not like that. In the Quran they were described to be something mightier and different. In my personal opinion they evolved into something more..divine.
It's not magical because right now we can see how humans themselves evolved, so as animals.
If angels are not magical ('so as animals'), is it your contention that there are angelic dolphins, pigs, and kangaroos?
