I am impressed immensely by the con artist who managed to convince 2 billion people with his lie, prolonging for 1400 years; his lies remained so alive in a book that nobody could mess with:

Argumentum ad populum
Argument from age.

There are religions older than yours, and religions that are more popular than yours and religions older AND more popular. Christianity for example.

It's very odd that a con artist would achieve such success.
