There is a difference between believing in something & believing that other people believe in it. I was perfectly clear.

Do you believe in Christianity? I'm guessing not. That doesn't mean you deny the existence of Christians.

As for your example above - Christianity is a religion, a set of beliefs.  Christians are people.
