I ran a quick stress test on the hardware, it came back with the summery "Wattage could not be determined" meaning it was recognizing it was plugged in, but saying the battery may not charge. Then I did a deep hardware advanced stress test, again everything passed but also gave the same message that the "wattage" of the power supply could not be determined.
So, having never had this problem before today, it still seems to remain an issue of the power cord itself, or damage to the interior jack. And just now checking the life of the battery, it is saying I am down to 71percent.
Well it looks like I am going to be off line once again while I sort this out. The battery isn't charging even though it recognized the power cord being plugged in.
You should check if the power cord has power to deliver. Maybe that's the thing that broke on the inside.
