Tesla considered monotheists to be ignorant and religion generally to be something for simple minds, Edison was an atheist, Gorrie was both a Mason and Episcopalian, neither Daimler nor Benz seem to have been particularly religious, Booth was not known to be religious, though the Wright Brothers were born into a religious family, they themselves seem to have distanced their work from those roots. I'm not sure where you're going with your contention that religion had anything to do with the modern inventions you have listed, ruholla.
Religion qua religion has had very little to do with great discoveries and inventions. Those who were religious and discovered or invented things are likely to have done so without any religion behind them (save when the churches have been funding them, whereupon certain godbranding issues tend to obtain).
