I strongly agree. Our biology has evolved to adapt and survive its conditions, our ideology needs to do the same. We need to cast aside the illogical and the irrational while embracing the human virtues we have come to admire. Religion was a barbaric, blunt instrument of control and still is today. It is a virus that infects and fundamentally retards the thinking processes of its victims allowing them to ignore facts, take leaps and commit malicious acts entirely outside their nature.
It should have no place in a civilized, moral and evolved society.
