We don't see any precision in life, we see an impressive litany of heuristics. Heuristics are not evidence for god or accidents. One of the many benefits of heuristic problem solving over "precision" problem solving is that it does not require an exhaustive search or top down direction to achieve results. Convenient for life, since there doesn't seem to be any agent capable of undergoing such a search or providing top down directives (EbNS isn't capable of this any more than your beliefs are capable of this). Even more convenient in that even if there were, it doesn't seem to have given any attention to life (or anything else for that matter) in the first place.
