There are several diseases attributed to cannibalism. Specifically a type of CJD attributed to the consumption of human lymphatic tissue. Isn't it possible that general repulsion expressed by humans is not merely a cultural paradigm, but rather an evolutionary thought process? A little nudge from our genetics letting us know IT'S A BAD FUCKING IDEA!
However, I could be wrong. Perhaps if it was regulated and only the parts deemed "safe" were consumed, and if there are no ramifications other than the psychological ones, and if there are indeed people who wouldn't be afflicted with such psychological ramifications, then by all means those people should at least be allowed to do it.
