But rather it's based upon the average women in that field. Besides it all depends on the persons interest, commitment, and passion. To be truth full if you had 100 men and 100 women who were all just as passionate about physics I'm sure it would be about dead even in their capabilities other than the fact women have better communication skills and work together better. :p

I grew up with two sisters. You couldn't be more wrong.

But thanks for the sexism. It is nice to know that my primitive male anatomy prevents me from effectively communicating. I guess that extra X-chromosome really changes things, huh?

William Osborne not good enough how about Princeton then?

First off, YOU linked an opinion piece by William Osborne.

Said opinion piece dealt with a organization rejecting applicants over aesthetics, not ability.

WHO funds this organization?

Do they care?

If you can't answer the last two, then what fucking hope do you have of effecting change?

It's like you can't even understand basic human nature and the economics that fund it.

And where did I say that?

^ THIS is why I hate my fellow "liberals". They seek offense as if it trumps an argument. ^

1. The organization in question is rejecting applicants out of some notion of appearance (race, gender, etc).

2. The organization, like Chick-Fil-A, has a defined audience who empowers them in some way

3. Said audience is in a position to effect change.

4. If said audience does not care, then change will not occur or not stick with time.

Also, JON, the organization is private.

They're free to discriminate as they see fit.

If their supporters find this repugnant, then they'll change or die.

As to your accusation of "15th Century", I grabbed a random numeric and applied it to modern fashion.

Had I said "1990's shoe", you probably would've accused me of something else.
