I dunno...I'm speculating that it could possibly be that some homegrown leftwing extremists could be involved in terrorist activities...wonder if Billy Boy Ayers is regrouping the Weather Underground?

I don't suppose you have an examples of left wing terrorism that have occurred within the last decade that would compare to this list, last updated in 2011.

Having to go back to the 70s is a bit of an exaggeration. According to the FBI, right-wing domestic terrorism only overtook left-wing domestic terrorism in the 1990s. The decline has more to do with the fall of communism and the end of the cold war than any sort of purity on part of left wing ideology. Regardless there are still plenty of left-wing terrorist groups running around.
