Unfortunately, no. History has shown that our world never has a shortage of crazy ideologues who are firmly convinced that even though __X__ idea has been tried over and over again, they've somehow figured out how to do it without becoming some kind of horrible monster (and every single time, they're wrong and they turn into exactly the same horrible monster they insisted they wouldn't be).
