Self-report studies show that 20% of adult females and 5-10% of adult males recall a childhood sexual assault or sexual abuse incident;
During a one-year period in the U.S., 16% of youth ages 14 to 17 had been sexually victimized;
Over the course of their lifetime, 28% of U.S. youth ages 14 to 17 had been sexually victimized;
Children are most vulnerable to CSA between the ages of 7 and 13.

This is just one single year in one country. Two wrongs don't make a right. I have stated several times now in this thread that MAN Is flawed, regardless if they are a school teacher, police officer, store clerk, plumber, or yes priest. Are you tearing down schools, police stations, stores, and pulmbing professions?.

...And? You're presenting these statistics from a worldview that says it's completely OK, and that a person can go out and rape as many children they want to Monday through Saturday, show up for confession on Sunday and repent.

And their sins are forgiven.

From that point on, they can go out again and rape more kids, Monday to Saturday, come back and repent. And their sins are forgiven.

They're OK in the eyes of the Almighty.

How can you possibly relate that to a secular worldview that says: child molestation is wrong. Rape is wrong. No take-backs, no begging for forgiveness because "you were weak."

It's wrong. It's unacceptable. Whether or not you believe some supernatural entity "forgives your sins" after the fact, you have ruined someone's life.

You belong to a church that defines the most heinous crimes against humanity as "OK, as long as you really say you're sorry afterward, and accuse us of having a corrupt moral compass?

You belong to a tradition that not only is willing to cover for this kind of inhumane, disgusting destructive behavior, and hold yourself up as a "moral superior" for not only accusing others of what is morally forgivable in your doctrine, but completely forgotten every time you climb into a box with a man wearing the right kind of clothes and say the right words, no matter what horrors the victims of these crimes will have to rebuild the ashes of their lives out of?

What's it like to be that sick, that morally corrupt? How do you get from that low of a place to feigning moral superiority?
