There can be groupism, sure. But I think that after a year, this is more a matter of chickens coming home to roost. EP's kicked a lot of members here in the figurative face, myself included.

I understand it. This is just chickens coming home to roost ... chickens that he himself let out of the coop.
"Turning the other cheek" in many cases gets you a second black eye.
I think maybe that's part of the difference. I had my own forum issues and left for like 3ish months and even having heard of some guy named EP when I came back I didn't know who he was for a good while. I guess I missed about the first half of his time here.
That being said, I still don't get that attitude. You get it and it's probably healthy for you that you do. I've had far more than my fair share of black eyes tbh.
