Sorry, didn't mean to ignore your question Bella.  Just didn't notice it.

I wasn't banned under the current rules as administered by the current moderation team.  In broad strokes, the forum had a bad day, I defended someone from a mod I thought was behaving badly, became paranoid I'd be banned for calling for that mod to step down, wrote some shit in my bio and a member of the team took exceptation to my describing this place as a lunatic asylum run by the inmates.  My perma-ban was lifted when I asked to rejoin and was allowed to without making apologies or receiving any.  

Shit happens.  People aren't perfect.  Mods are people too.

There can be groupism, sure. But I think that after a year, this is more a matter of chickens coming home to roost. EP's kicked a lot of members here in the figurative face, myself included.
