I understand guys, it's not fair that people expect you to keep order and moan every time you do it. And if you come down harshly on the moaning, they moan more that you are hitler. I understand that you are often in a "can't win" situation, and that sucks.

I agree, this is the best moderated site I have ever been on, by far. I have agreed with every decision you have made, as far as my information allows.

I think what we need is graceful acceptance from mod action. I don't mean never complaining, but when they come to an agreement over something, it's reasonable to assume they have thought it through, especially when we don't have all the information. Bitching openly about it is bad, I think sending polite, constructive PM is far better. We can't have members just saying what they think the rules should be all the time.

I wish I knew what to say or do to restore things It's almost getting to the point where there will no option but to have less leniency and start handing out temporary bans for moaning about staff decisions. That would be sad, but I can understand it.

Again... If there's anything I can do, please let me know. Random ideas which may be crap:

1) Enforcers, people who don't make decisions, but they deliver the messages from the staff. Then no staff member has to actually be the messenger to get shot to shit.

2) Automatic warning for moaning in public about staff decisions, you should PM instead. Do it again in a short period of time and you get temporary ban. Discussion by PM with staff must remain civilised, and staff decisions can be discussed but must eventually be accepted. Bitching by PM also gets a warning, then a temporary ban.

3) People can use the ignore feature more. I reduce a lot of stress and pointless argument by just ignoring people rather than dancing round them endlessly.

Just some ideas, that is all. They may all be shit, so feel free to ignore all of them. I just want to help
