Ugh... Top 3 is a tough choice. But let's say - in no particular order:
1. "Brain Candy" (Kids In The Hall movie)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116768/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
2. "A Mighty Wind" (but honestly - I could fill this list with just Christopher Guest movies; I named this one, because of the subject matter)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0310281/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
3. "Kung Fu Hustle" (Stephen Chow made THE perfect movie once and not enough people know that)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373074/
It pains me, that there's not enough room in the top 3 for anything directed by Terry Gilliam ("Jabberwocky", "Brazil", "12 Monkeys"), or written by Charlie Kauffman ("Being John Malkovich", "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind")... Any and every Python movie, a bunch of Muppet ones... and probably a dozen others.
