and the unpardonable sin you speak of isn't denying the existence of the Holy Spirit, rather it was a specific sin which happened in the days when Jesus was on Earth. You're sins are not forgiven if you reject the Son.
All your sins are forgiven past, present, and future once you believe on Jesus Christ. confession of sins after receiving salvation by grace through Jesus Christ is for relational purposes with God. It offends God and grieves the Spirit when we sin (Ephesians 4:20) God has already given me eternal life in Heaven, but if I want to walk with God and live in a close relationship with Him on Earth, then I must confess my sins daily. And to confess means to agree with. I'm agreeing with God that I was wrong and sinned.
Seems to me that you are of a denomination that has a different interpretation of scripture than other professed Christians.
If I may ask, what is your denomination?
