I can go without food for around two days before I start to feel too drained. Longest I went without was around 4-5 days, all I had was really caffeinated and sugary drinks. It felt awful.
Would a fat person be unphased because of their reserves?
Um I've went on a cleanse a few times. Not sure what it has to do with fat.
OK; Fat is essentially stored energy. My reasoning is that the more stored energy someone carries within their body the longer they can theoretically go without food.
The only problem is that fat is slow burning energy so carbohydrates/sugars are required to sustain us ontop of that. Fast burning energy to supplement the slow burning energy.
My question is this; do you find having more fat makes it easier to go without food for long periods of time or not. Is the process less, more or equally uncomfortable.
