I used to have a lot of interest in psychedelics. I can't say that I ever used them in a spiritual context but I certainly do think they helped me grow as a person over the years. Now I'm not sure psychedelics can do anything for me that I can't achieve through meditation, mindfulness and quiet self-reflection. The psychedelic experience can be very bizarre and interesting and amazing... but ultimately I found that they didn't do much for more for me that I couldn't do on my own.
