Yeah, that's what confounds me. It'd seem that someone with 100 posts in the last month who hadn't been banned would be recognized by the software as nonspamming by dint of not being banned, if nothing else.
I actually don't recall exactly what the thresholds are, but it is disabled once someone reaches that point -or- we whitelist the user after a post gets caught in the filter. Those thresholds could be revisited, of course, now that we have experience with it.
