I'm generally against it. There are some people that I would have cheerfully stuck the needle in their arm myself. But still, I'm against the death penalty. We sometimes put a person on death row who is innocent, and I don't think the death penalty is justified if it means that we will sometimes execute an innocent person. Additionally, the rules about who gets the death penalty and who doesn't aren't entirely clear. We seem to be far more likely to sentence black people to death.
We do not inherit the world from our parents. We borrow it from our children.
