And it's not like many of us haven't harbored racist attitudes and thoughts in our past or current lives. We're not clean either, so let's not pretend it's only the people we disapprove of that have issues with prejudice.
Um no? It's very easy not to be racist. You make it sound as though it's really difficult not to be racist. Maybe for you and your god Joe it's difficult. Maybe it's because I wasn't brought up around racists? I don't know.
But let's suppose you had the ability to detect "'thought crimes' and you found one thought of mine that might be considered racist. Unlike Joe Biden, I'd hold my hands and have decency to apologise for being a racist. I would say, " I'm sorry for being racist", something Joe seems incapable of doing. Are you implying that anybody who has had a single racist thought in the past can't hold their presidential candidates to a higher standard?
Need I remind you that whilst Joe Biden was getting chummy with segregationists, Bernie Sanders was marching for civil rights protesters? Why is it other presidential candidates have the ability not be racist? I repeat: you make it sound as though not being racist is really hard. It's not.
Joe could have been marching for civil rights too, but instead he chose to align himself with racists. If Joe was in the Republican Party (where he should be. For example, Obamacare was originally a Republican idea don't forget) you'd have no issues with people calling him racist I'm sure. I'd rather not see 2020 be a contest between two dotards.
What the fuck was that about Biden being my god? Where do you get this shit, lol. I don't like him and do suspect he may be racist based on remarks he's made. But as Thena said, that's a problem with politicians in general.
Again, studies show that racism covertly permeates the whole of society and is not just situated in a select few individuals that we can point at and say "see this guy is a racist and I'm not". Time for some honest self reflection maybe?
