Definitely more cardio than yoga, and I felt a few muscles I haven't felt in a fucking age, so that was good. I'm going to keep it up.
That's awesome! I'm a writer and have a tendency to isolate... which is terrible for you if you're already depressed. Group activities do help combat that, for me personally. And hell, yoga...? Talk about guts. I'm 6'3", and pretty flexible, but I'd look like such a moron trying to do all those crazy poses LOL.
You been doing like cross-fit class or a group weightlifting thing or something?
I'm a writer also. I'm at home working 80% of the time, roughly. My mental health suffers if I give in to my instinct to stay home and only contact a few people too. It's good to get out, but I still tend not to socialize much in these group classes.
I don't do crossfit. I weight lift on my own in the gym, usually with my husband. I'm considering a spin class, but it looks really peppy. I'm not peppy.
