-and when he got into office...these camps were already closed. The last guy did many bad things - this isn't one of them. This, is the new guys bad thing. This is a call he made, not a thing he's fixing.
1.It makes sense to place a facility that made for that purpose, And just because it was that way in the past doesn't mean it's that way now.
2.No he couldn't have simply done anything else.
3.They temporarily reopened the camps under better supervision because the previous Administration messed the whole system up. Thus it's isn't a new bad thing it's a temporary stop-gap till they have fixed all the previous bad things.
I think I agree. While Biden could have handled this better, I think it’s a fuck up he’s seriously interested in correcting.
In January alone, something between six and seven thousand unaccompanied minors crossed your southern borders. These kids had to be housed somewhere, and the existing facilities probably seemed like best immediate option.
