I DON'T GIVE A SHIT if you want to spend your money on navel or pocket lint. I REALLY DONT.  I do care however, when the people at the top fuck the middle and working class over by basically pricing everyone else out of stability.

Conspicuous consumption doesn’t fuck the middle and lower classes out of anything, nor does it price them out of stability or mobility.

Suppose I spend $20K on airfare to visit, say, London. While there I stay in a thousand dollar-a-night hotel suite, and dine on pangolin tartare at $500 an ounce. How does that negatively affect a dishwasher, cabbie, or hotel maid?
