Unintended improvisation that makes the final cut.
It is my understanding, for example, that in the original Indiana Jones "Raiders Of The Lost Ark", that the seen that Jones ends up fleeing the Nazis to end up in a small desert town only to face off with a guy with a sword who keeps swinging it around, and the writers in reality didn't really know how to end the fight in the script, and Harrison Ford simply pulled out his gun and pretended to shoot the guy with the sword. The director loved it, so they kept it in the script. At least that is my understanding. 

How about you, television or movies, post your stories of improvisation that was not in an original script that ended in the final cut. And no, I am not talking about late night shows or things like Saturday Night Live. Just scripted sitcoms, or scripted movies.
