You always hear "Muslims" who come to you and "twist their tongues" to spit "Hadith narrations" in an attempt to make what they say holy like the scripture.
The verse refers to anyone who tries to mimic scripture to confuse people. This doesn't allude at all to hadiths, because they are not an attempt to imitate scripture.

Quote:Sura 6, The Quran:

( 19 ) Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, "Allah is witness between me and you. And this Qur'an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him]."
( 20 ) Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe.
( 21 ) And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.
Where do these verses say that the prophet had ONLY the Qur'an ? Where is the word only in the verses...?

Hadiths aren't a substitute to the Qur'an, they are a necessary complement. What's so hard to understand about that ?
Also, sunnism doesn't claim hadiths come from God verbatim.

We don't reject the Qur'an, you're trying to build a strawman to make it easy for yourself.

That's hilarious. Many hadiths actually encourage reading the Qur'an and promise heavenly gratification for reciting some of its chapters.
