One problem is that your questions are highly fallacious
fallacy #1
Equating faith and superstituion, coming to the fallacious conclusion that they are both to be rejected for lack of evidence
Of course there is no evidence for superstitution, and that by definition. However, there is no equivilency between faith and superstitution. You can have faith in things you have evidence for. For instance, you have faith in your wife to be faithful to you, and you have many reasons I am sure to back up this faith, but it is a faith non-the-less.

fallacy 2, equating baptism with genital mutilation and being christined, implying that your children will go to hell if none of these are true
First, none of the three have any bearing whether you are going to Heaven or Hell. Second, only baptism is truly relevant Christianity.
Did she ever break Gods laws? Do you know what opportunities God did or didn't offer her?
fallacy 3 to say belief in God requires gullibility. 4, to say that there is no proof for belief in God. 5, that you need to force yourself to believe 6, that evidence is the reason you don't know God
Let's go question by question now..ill rewrite them without the fallacies
1. Will you as an atheist go to hell because you rejected God?
Yes.
2. will your children go to hell if they aren't baptised?
No. They will go to hell if they die without accepting Jesus as their Lord.
3. will your mother go to hell if she died without accepting Jesus as her Lord?
Yes. Hopefully God gave her an opportunity before she died which she accepted.
4. will God make an exception because you didn't think God was likely enough to believe in?
One way or another, God makes His existence clear to you. No one is going to hell for a lack of evidence. The only people who go to hell are unrepentant sinners. I can guarantee you that there are many on this board who have more than a clue about whether God exists but are suppressing the truth. Your problem is looking to others for insight into the legal matter that exists between God and you and you only. You have no insight into other peoples hearts, or the opportunities God has given them to accept or reject the truth. And nothing anyone has ever said to you is going to make one inkling of difference when it comes to where you will spend eternity. The honus is entirely on you.

This is the illusion that the world portrays, that people are generally good. The fact is, people are generally sinful. I am candid with the truth because people need to know the truth. I don't want that to happen to anyone, and neither does God. God desires that everyone come to repentance. But it isn't my choice, and if a person wants to willfully reject God and end up there, there is nothing I can do about it. All I can do is try to warn them before it happens.
All you would need to do is pray to Jesus and ask Him to show you the truth. If you were sincere about it, He would do it. It's just that simple. No one is going to have any excuse.

That is the bottom line, that billions of people were created by this god with the advanced knowledge that they were destined for eternal torture, and Christians don't seem to have a problem with that.
It is indeed a great thing that this god does not actually exist. It is unfortunate that so many of his worshipers do.
