For one.... Acoustic covers of classic songs can fuck off. Someone said it right when they said "For every acoustic cover, I'm going to cover a Bon Iver song as synth-pop"... at this point, all of indie-music can fuck off, its been bastardized beyond return and is now more boring than shit.

I like indie music, but it must rock.

Ok, ok, I was maybe a 'bit' harsh there.... let me rephrase.... I hate snoozer advertisement "indie" rock.... no more than 3 slow songs per album, plz! Do Drive By Truckers or Lucero count for "indie" still??

Lucero, yes. Drive By Truckers, maybe.

Are you a 90's rock fan, helm?

Depends... I still like Guided By Voices, At The Drive In, Neutral Milk Hotel, and a few others. I like a lot of 90s metal, some good, some bad. I lost interest in the grunge stuff over the years, and a lot of the popular rock during that era was pretty bad. I must admit that at that time, I was in high school and had decidedly poor taste in music. If I had to qualify my musical taste these days, though, it would be decidedly 1980s and 2000s.

I grew up in the 90's listening to stuff like Pigface, In Flames, Metallica, STP, Soulcoughing, and Spacehog.

I still listen to pretty much all of that stuff, but I do love the newer stuff too.

Awesome! Gothenberg metal was stellar during the 90s. Whoracle by In Flames and The Gallery by Dark Tranquility are 2 of my all-time favorite albums of any genre. Can't go wrong with any of the "big 4 (or 5... Testament ftw)" bands, either. I think I might be hitting up the Anthrax/Testament/Death Angel show here in a couple months.
