Well, we are nearing the end of 2011, so it is time for the Atheist Forums Member Awards! These awards celebrate the people who contribute to these forums, and as usual we have a few changes. Firstly, the awards for "Best Avatar" and "Best Signature" have been removed; mainly because people change their avatars / signatures quite often, but also because thanks to Cinjin, everyone has really awesome avatars and signatures now! In light of this fact, we are awarding Cinjin the honorary "Best Avatar & Signature (Creator)" award. The second change is an addition to the awards, which we think you'll find entertaining: "Most Controversial".
For those who were not around for last year's awards, here is a list of the categories which you can vote for:
Best Member
Best Poster
Best Debater
Best Theist
Most Controversial (new)
Sexiest Member
Funniest Member
Most Opinionated
Weirdest Member
Every member of the forum can vote once, as long as you comply with the rules:
1) You must vote for a member in each category.
2) You cannot vote for yourself.
3) Any votes for banned members will be ignored. *
* Voting for a banned member is a neat way to get out of (1) if you can't think of anyone to vote for in a certain category, hence why I left the ability in.
Voting will end in 2 weeks time, with the results announced sometime in January. For a better description of what the category means, and to vote for your favourite members, please go to the voting page: http://atheistforums.org/awards.php
As always, votes are anonymous, and requests to change votes will be ignored unless a bug is responsible for them, so double check your votes before submitting the form! If you find any bugs, please report them in this thread (although the code is the same as last year's, and that worked flawlessly).
