Sounded like you took an expression literally. It's something older people usaullt says when they hear about modern things. Something my granmother said when she heard thing what computers can do. Maybe its more correctly translated to "Where will it all end" but also "Where will the world end" or what I said.

Hope you don't acctually brake a leg when somebody says that to you. Oterwise it would quite embrassing if not painful
