In my opinion, there are numerous situations where it is ok to kill people, one of which being many wars. However, no matter how shitty an enemy is, it is dishonorable to behave in this way. Syn pointed out one of the most important reasons, so I will not reiterate it, but let's not forget who the Taliban are and what they have done since long before we got there. Furthermore, never forget the number of lives saved when a terrorist dies. It is not as if you can politely ask them to stop. Still, pissing on them is unacceptable, yes.

Difference is the US army is meant to follow laws and orders (despite republican beliefs that laws don't matter to them), the taliban are not confined by laws, they are not an army, just rag tag fighters. Also, these Americans are educated professional soldiers, they should know better.

Turns out interfering with enemy dead is a no-no;a violation of international law and a war crime.Those guys may be dishonourably discharged AND put in prison.The US is big on justice being SEEN to be done.
