Same thing happened here (where I was living) in a Social Housing group of townhouses mainly occupied by single parents. Yep the $$ were tight so we banded together and organised a Food co-op...once the local dogooder xtians got a hold of it it collapsed.
Seems to be a pattern here...
...one can only hope that these Rock n Roll churches will also go the way of the dodo
