Me, neither, for obvious reasons (just look under my username). And I don't intend to try it.
..so I tried vegetarianism..which means I have kudos of respect for those who can stick with it.
Personally it makes it difficult for me to have the perfect diet when being married with 2 kids... but if I had my way I would eat garden salad in at least 75% of my meals..
I tried going 100% vegie...but the sea food...oh the crab legs...oh the lobster tails...

I hear you Rev... best i can do is the 75% vegies. Had rabbit a few times in my youth ...was a speciality of my grandfathers. But since here in Aus the rabbit is a menace and has been inflicted with at least two viruses it really isn't on the menu. Yep all kudos to those who can stick with it and not only for medical reasons.

I hear ya girl...and when I see a huge bowl of raw vegetables with lost of varieties Im like "Damn that looks delicious!"
Living in the southern (otherwise known as the former "Confederacy") part of America, I am used to people looking at such a dish and commenting:
"I want food...THAT is what my food eats!"
...LOL...
Well, I can get a good laugh at the humor end of it, but most actually live by it down here.
Its also hard to say "NO!" to bacon...
As far as your rabbit/virus problem. Damn that sucks...it makes it easier for humans to waste lives by shooting and not eating.

P.E.T.A. and Animal Rights Activists at it again. They would rather have the animals die a painful death than have people shoot and eat them. Does my head in mate.

Ingredients
3pounds rabbit, cut into stew sized pieces
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup celery, diced
2 cups diced carrots
2 onions, finely diced
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
3 bay leaves
6 cups water
4 cups red wine
4 medium-sized potatoes, diced
1/2 cup sliced sauteed mushrooms
My grandfather would also add Worcestershire Sauce to his.
Directions
Using half the flour (3/4 cup) coat the pieces of rabbit, shaking off any excess. Heat the oil and butter in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, and brown the floured rabbit on all sides. Add the celery, carrots, onions, salt, pepper, bay leaves, 6 cups water and red wine, and stew for about 2 hours. Add the potatoes 45 minutes into the stewing process. Once the rabbit and all the vegetables are cooked, use some water to form a paste with the remaining 3/4 cup flour. Stir the flour mixture into the pot as a thickener. Add the already sauteed mushrooms to the stew and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes. Adjust seasonings, if necessary, and serve.

Have you had pussy? Well rabbit is nothing like it.
Rabbits are vermin here.
When I was growing up,we had a 'rabbito', a bloke who would come around with his horse and cart selling fresh rabbits @2 shillings and six pence (25 cents) a pair. We always had them stewed.
Today rabbit-skin felt is still used to make an Aussie icon, the "Akubra" hat
I no longer eat rabbit as chicken is cheaper.
Me in my Akubra. (Xmas day 3 years ago)
