Agreed. I usually let my steaks sit overnight in a very basic and light marinade. In fact I wouldnt call it a marinade, as I am only conditioning the outer side of the steak to hold in its juices when it is cooking. A splash of vinegar, a splash of red wine, and a pich of salt and pepper, rub it in really good...its all to encourage the outer surface of the steak to "close up" so that no juices (or very little) escape during cooking.

Massage that meat...yeah...like that...ummm..rub that meat!

Make sure the wine is fruity. The fruitier the wine the better the natural flavors become enhanced.

...but you dont HAVE to do any of that if you have a damn good cut of steak. I just prefer to give it some splashing just to be on the safe side.

salad is murder as well...wait, no it isnt. For something to be murder means that there must be a law against killing it.

There are no laws against killing animals for food, nor are there laws against killing plants for food.

so dont you mean "Meat is killing", instead of murder?...just like you have to usually kill the plant in order to eat it.

No...I dont. You called meat "murder". Killing animals is not murder unless it is against the law to kill animals.

There is a clear bondary between murder and kill.

RE: Veganism?
Mitja...no one here gives a damn. You like being vegetarian?? Great.

I think PETA and all are just using the vegetarian angle to become a militant political moment. It's like the animals are incidental to their objectives, and you are just being sucked into something that is fashionable.

Actually I love raw Bacon and Raw Pork mince...I think there is a Polish Tapas (?) dish that involves these ingredients.. so much for genetic heritage
