Snippet of a conversation on an e-mail list today with some AF members and non-members:

Tux computers: Ok so homeopathy is "like cures like" right? I just had the brilliant flash of homeopathic birth control. Guess whats in it? I will try a proving by getting my wife to swallow a pure concentration first.

Me: That works until someone points out that you're comparing pregnancy to a disease....

Chadster: It's a parasitic infection.

I'm gonna have to call you out on that gun with the chainsaw.

Chainsaws are not designed to cut through meat. They would get caught not only in the clothing, but the zombie itself.
Both the gun and the chainsaw attachment are also too noisy. Impractical

But, boy, that pringles one is GENIUS.

Actually, cracked or something like that had a blurb on how Ash clearly knew that chainsaws were impractical for such things, which is why he only used them for one on one fights in close quarters when there was no way out, and thus Bruce Campbell's badassery is maintained.
