Hey all, thought it was about time I signed up to a forum such as this, been freelance for far too long
While I don't have a conversion story as such, I can remember when, quite a number of years ago now, I began to lean away from the prospect of religion.
It was in Year 6 (6th grade for Americans), this wasn't a faith school by the way, and an official documentation of me as a pupil was being made to send to my secondary (high) school, the same as everybody else at my school.
I glanced over it and noticed something:
Religion: Christian
I thought; "I never told spoke about my religion, and they never asked!"
Despite only being 11 years old this really annoyed me. I had never thought in-depth about my religion (maybe unsurprisingly considering my age) but it angered me that I had been labelled. Now I can look back and see why, Dawkins' continued point of labelling children under a certain religion is set on very firm ground.
Anyway, enough about me, I hope to meet as many of you as possible in my time here.
