Like I said - the strummers lasted me 4+ years. Unfortunately I can't really justify the upfront costs to most really good boots as I'm not doing heavy work. A good pair of work boots from wal-mart would serve me well, but they don't exactly make them for narrow-footed females. I just haven't found a pair to replace them yet, and since I've been digging for about the same amount of time in the yard, at this point the pick and my sneakers work fairly well. The most I'll spend is maybe $80 for a pair of Docs.
The reason the strummers worked well is that they were clearly shaped to have more delicacy of form and suggest at femininity. This wasn't a primary concern, of course, but it did put the laces in exactly the right places to support my legs and feet. Best $30 I spent on clothing.

yeah, if you are just doing gardening its not like you need bad ass work shoes. It isnt like you are walking all over steel, grease, oil, and rocks all day.
The bibs, on the other hand, I would definitely encourage you to get. You can get plain old filthy as hell with one on and still save your pants and shirt. Besides, women in work bibs are sexy to me.
Ive been on jobs wearing all 3, boots, bib, and coat...and in 8 hours be covered from head to toe in black soot. Coal fired power plants are filthy as hell. the shit gets EVERYWHERE...but hey, now Im just chit chatting.

Sweet pea, you know how hot it gets here. I work in a wife beater and cargo pants and hose myself down afterwards. My bathroom is just off the back door, across from the laundry room. I strip as soon as I walk in.
I don't wear anything outside I wouldn't tear up with thorns and chicken wire or stain with NC orange clay. The only thing that really harms me are the fire ants and the sun. The less I'm wearing, the better.

And this means what exactly??
Don't most men in your culture wear what could be viewed as dresses??

Don't most men in your culture wear what could be viewed as dresses?? I meant by dress, something worn over the inner clothing pieces.
We wear normal things, although it changes from place to place.
In easternmost provinces, the clothing is thick, with many men wearing kalpaks outside and even inside the house, but in western provinces where it is hot, most middle-aged and younger people wear shorts and t-shirts.
I do not wear shorts as I'm not accustomed to it due to where I live.
I also wear a kalpak during winters sometimes.
And what I mean is, she mostly wears...dresses in her pictures. Nothing minimal or anything that could be considered as too revealing.

I wear the same army boots for about 5 years then I swap them out for new ones. I'm on British Engineering Corps boots this time instead of my regular Dutch Army boots.

Yes, in my avatar I'm wearing a non-revealing dress. I'm just not quite sure what that had to do with the conversation.
