My position is not complicated,as far as I can see.I assert only " I do not believe due the lack of credible evidence". I make no claims, so need prove or disprove exactly nothing.
Further, unlike early [and later] Christian theologians such as Augustine and Aquinas,I am not a neo Platonist. IE I reject the notion that God can be argued into [or out of] existence:I demand proof. The same goes for any asserted belief.
No proof? Not my problem. That simply means I need to assess a claim on the evidence I have, as credible/likely or not. Truth claims on metaphysical matters are neither.
